Postprzez dimitriscy » 2011-12-20, 14:30

First of all i want to say that is good to see that there is a forum for this machines, because i think they are great, but also a little complicated!

Second, is my dissapointment about everything is in Polish, and i can't understant much....

I tried using Google translator...but i got lost.

The Problem : I want to set my ccam's preferences (bought form website) to unlck some sattelite channels

I went to "Net Client Config", and i set everything (port, username, password, protocol=Newcamd)
But i can NOT change the IP adress of the server! It's 000.000.000.000., and i can not go on the line of the IP configuration to edit it. It just jumbw to the next setting....

Any help??

I would be much appreciate, as i bought this machine, to get rid of my Dreambox 500 wich SUCKS!!!

Thankss...

Seems like i solved this, by entering the IP, on the line above, where the label says "Server"

So, i go to my next question.

How can i get into my machine from PC (using a software like DCC for dreambox), to explore it and maybe use some channel lists?

Welcome to our web site.
First of all - this is official site, so any discussion about solution like cccam or other protocol are prohibited, sorry for it ;-)
2nd - there is no way to connect to GM 9080 via LAN to explore like in DM. GM 9080 firmware isn`t open source. We have such product, Golden Media 990 Spark based on Linux - You can do whatever You want with it, using FTP or Telnet client ;-)

A...Ok i didn't know that cccam protocols are prohibited...Thanks for the tip and i am sorry!
I said that i could not read much in here, because of the language.
I think i am ok now, i set up the machine and using it. I rid of my old dreambox and i am very happy i can use the same machine for digital TV, and Satellite chanels.

So i can download Golden media 990 Spark, and use it to acces my Box's files, or upload some Chanel list and others? I will try find more about it...Thanks

Althougt, when i did a search to find the channels in Hotbird, it didn't found all the channels i had in Dreambox.
Do i have to use something other than "Blind Search" ??
And althoug that supports HD, i can't see HD satellite chanels...
Any ideas here? :?:

GM 990 Spark is a STB based on Linux sw, You can explore that OS as well by PC. Golden Media 9080 - not.
HD channels - check sort settings (option), maybe "only SD" has been marked.
Also because of many changes on TP last weeks, we strongly recommended to check TP paramters (according to www.lyngsat.com datas). Ready-to-use channel list we`ve prepared only for polish digital platforms.

Ok :) i am starting to clear some things out now...i think...:):)
The 990 spark is another machine, not software, i cannot "enter" to my 9080...

HD chanels, i can see them if they are free to air...so i suppose that's ok too..

My only problem now, is that when i scanned HotBird satellite, i don't get all the channels....and i know they are much more, because i had them in Dreambox..

What are the search options i have to use???

And also, it's annoying that for every search, it dublicates (3x, 4x etc) the channels that finds again....so i end up with 1000 channels, 3-4 times each, but still some missing...
Am i doing something wrong??

thanks again, for the answers!

As I wrote - check TP parameters according to www.lyngsat.com list and make correction. Many of them have been changed.

I saw the parameters...and tried manually scan to the frequencies, but i still don't get nothing.
In Lyngsat, i see that those are the parameters
10930 H tp 121 DVB-S SR 27500 FEC 3/4

On satellite installaton, i select Hotbird 13, and if i put in TP Index 10930 H-27500 (horizontal) i have no signal on the bars below...
I have only one LNB.
(DiseqC=Disable, Positioner=Off, LNB Type=Standart, 22k=on, 0/12V=On, Polarity=Horizonat or Aut, Toneburst=Off, LNB Power=13/18V)

But i get many other channels on Blind Scan...
Also i find them when i use Dreambox..so is something with setting......
I am thinking of going back to Dreambox

I would apreciate any help..
Thank you!

Wrong LNB Type - should be Universal, not Standard

I LOVE YOU MAN!!
That was it....! You are Awasome!

THANK YOU! :-D

Edit... AT least i though so....
I changed the setting, leaving the first and second frequency by default, and found more channels, but lost the signal in some i found before...

Can you explain what is the difference of blind scan, single Scan, tp scan in the options, and if i have to change manually any frequencies?
I tried Automatic Installation, but also i miss some channels (Rai sport1-2 for example) which are free...and many others....
I am still confused...i tried 100 different ways, and with no one i can see all Hotbird Channels....

Can i manually add some channels, according to Lyngsat information??

Also, how can i have some channels (free) to the list, but i can't see picture after the new sattelites scan?
I was watching them normally, untill i did the Universal scan...
I tried readind many things ..but they are all based that everyone knows how sattelites and receivers are working!!!

If You made automatic scan, receiver using TP parameters from memory. Meanwhile, if any TP parameters has been changed You must set proper value manualy. Blind scan search frequencies step by step and checked all SR and FEC values, that`s difference.
Please make factory reset, set LNB Universal 9750/10600, than check all TP (installation, TP edit) parameters according to lyngsat list, save, and make full scan. It helped You for sure.

I will try to complete these steps (i am not sure if i know 100% how), and let you know!
By saying "Full Scan" you mean Automatic scan, after i am sure i added all TPs missing from list?
Blind scan is not searching all of them in the list? I didnt understand the difference.

And both searches are done, according to the preferences in "Satellite Installation" section?
I found out that i had to put the polarity to "Auto" , and now i can watch some channels i couldn't....

Thanks again for the support!
HAPPY NEW YEAR by the way!!
